Isoamericanin A, a neolignan, was isoloated from the seeds of Trianthema turgidifolia (Sarker et al., 1998a).
The seeds of Trianthema pilosa and Trianthema turgidifolia yielded the following ecdysteroids: 20-hydroxyecdysone, ajugasterone C and polypodine B (Sarker et al., 1998b).
